Despite having developed some pretty darn solid body awareness over the years I've always been tragic when it comes to anatomy and physiology – even as it relates to yoga.
No matter how many classes I take I just can't get the information to stick in my head in a way that has it be useful.
So, I'm super excited to share this article that I just came across from Yoga Inernational.
I literally just learned more about the psoas muscle (one of your major hip flexors), and the massive impact it has on our bodies, in one relatively brief article than in the multitude of anatomy and physiology classes I've taken over the years… and it's a really cool muscle!
And, bonus, in this same article I also learned what to do to take care of it on a daily basis.
